Hello! Pixel here and I'm back with more!
I've been adding details here and there to the Toy Block Jungle Island, an island made of plastic bricks home of The Tribal Guys a web comic I do.
I've finally modeled some plants for the lake, as you can see there's now plastic vines nettles, bushels, and leaves.
I also made the shadows blue in turn making the water blue. Below is the the older render from last post as a side by side comparison.
A blender eevee technical tip for those who're interested to change shadow and reflection color change the world color.
It makes everything pop when the shadows and reflections aren't gray like the default.
As for the rest of the Island I'm still setting things up. I have the basic landscape of the map I just have to add all of the little details next.
CHAOTIC DESIGN STORY OF THE TRIBE
Since the Tribals Guys are not from Earth their designs aren't accurate to any culture, and feature things from all sorts of cultures world wide all in one outfit. Mostly to separate them even farther from real world cultures.
(I know it's a fashion disaster but I wouldn't have it any other way)
For instance Glum Gal the village farmer has an American emo bang since she's depressed, and wears an African wooden mask with rings around her eyes to emphasize she's exhausted, and really messy hair to look like she's just gotten out of bed as she falls asleep at any given moment chronically. She wears modern African patterned dress. Coupled with midrift out 80-90's style. She also wears pigtails to show her quirky childish nature.
As for the sleeves? I just got creative.
Hunter Guy wears a plastic Hawaiian Ti Leaf skirt, coupled with a African wooden tribal mask, has a Native American feather propped up by a 80's exercise sweat band. He also has two gelled up spikes for hair cause he wants to look cool.
Pretty cooky eh? I think the sweat band fits him since he's a hunter and very athletic.
This is Rx Gal the village doctor, her base form was inspired by a spider. She's got spider leg shaped hair and a black widow hour glass just if you're weren't paying attention. Her wooden mask resembles a skull since she's a villain.
Her belt took heavy inspiration form Raven form Teen Titans to further emphasize her dark practices.
I still have yet to texture her model.
There's also a little Shadow the Hedgehog going on her hair style as well. With the multi-tone spikes and general shape.
Well I reached the maximum image limit for this news post, hopefully you found it a good read.
